Work Wear: J.Crew Black Outfit

New year, new outfits!  I’m starting 2019 by reinvigorating my work wear wardrobe.  I’m stepping away from my usual jeans, flats, and sweater lull I’ve been in lately and stepping up to more sleek, stream-lined looks.  This outfit has become my go-to for work days when I just need to wear something black.  We all have those days, right?  Scroll down to see all of the details!

Top: J.Crew | Pant: J.Crew | Belt: Altar’d State | Shoes: Jimmy Choo (similar style at lower prices here and here)| Bag: Henri Bendel | Earrings: J.Crew

J.Crew’s basics are always on my list for perfect professional wear.  I picked up the Every Day Cashmere Sweater in multiple colors and they have all become a staple in my winter wardrobe.  They are so soft and easy to style in a variety of ways.  The Cameron Slim Crop Pant is a new favorite of mine.  I first bought the Cameron in navy in October for my J.Crew Shopping Event. I loved it so much that I went back and bought it in black, too!  Style note: while the Cameron Pant is a cropped style, the hem hits my ankles since I’m quite short!

I love an all black outfit because I can accessorize in so many different ways.  In today’s outfit, I wore my new Jimmy Choo black suede pumps with my favorite black Henri Bendel bag.  You can find similar style black suede pumps at Nordstrom for $90 here and $79 here. I could easily switch out the black shoes for bright pink pumps, or even leopard printed flats. The possibilities are endless!

Now, I have to talk about something that makes my heart so heavy.  Henri Bendel is closing its doors after 123 years of stunning, chic business.  I’ve been a #bendelgirl for years now and I can’t believe the store is shutting down!  They’ve already started the liquidation process by having a 60% off site-wide sale going on now.  The site will be live until January 31, 2019 so scoop up the deals while you can!
