Christmas 2018

I’m so excited my favorite time of the year is finally here! Christmas has always been the time of year I look forward to… hot cocoa by the fire, Christmas carols on the radio, Christmas movies on the TV, decorating the trees, and giving presents.

We unofficially started a new tradition three years ago when Colton and I donned plaid and my mom took our photos along the promenade in downtown Hot Springs. A year later, I published a post on my blog dedicated to His and Hers NYE Style. We took individual outfit photos before I convinced Colton to take a few together. We were playing around and dancing in front of the camera and I loved how the photos turned out.

But last year is when I officially decided we wanted to take Christmas photos every year. We thought it would be fun to go all out for Christmas 2017. I found a gorgeous sequin gown and faux fur stole that I fell in love with and Colton wore his favorite black suit. We brought a long a couple of props (including a bottle of champagne!) and had so much fun creating the photos together.

For this year’s photos, I wanted our photos to celebrate and reflect our wedding in May. 2018 will always be one of the best years of my life because I married the love of my life, bought a beautiful house, and started our new lives together as a new family. I wore a beautiful white dress with my special blue wedding shoes and Colton wore the navy suit he wore to our wedding.
