Today’s blog post brings back so many grade school memories when I was obsessed with everything Juicy Couture. The fancy crest logo, the iconic velour tracksuits, apparel with JUICY emblazoned across the chest and butt, their signature baby pink and brown color combo… OMG the memories!
After declaring bankruptcy and temporarily closing down, Juicy Couture is back under new ownership, and is targeting a much more mature audience. Yes, the tracksuits are still a thing, but their clothing and accessories are now sophisticated, on-trend, and clean-lined.
I found this sweet jacquard fit-and-flare dress while perusing Amazon’s Fashion department. Can you believe it’s currently on sale for $50?! Scroll down to see how I styled the dress and scoop it up while you still can!
In my opinion, a jacquard dress is quintessentially fall. The luxurious fabric of this Juicy Couture dress paired with the rich, deep colors woven together in a floral pattern makes me yearn for cooler weather, changing leaves, and hot coffee. The dress is a modified version of a fit and flare, which has easily become my favorite dress style to wear for all occasions. The deep plum and muted fuchsia colors of the dress follow the dark floral trend that has been so popular as of late. Oh, and did I mention it has pockets?! And it’s only $60!
For this particular occasion, I decided to match the dress with my equally beautiful suede Dior pumps. The plums of both the dress and the shoes match so perfectly! It may be a little too matchy-matchy for some, but I love it. The bright blue Henri Bendel mini tote was a last minute addition. I love how the the bright blue of the bag both contrasts and complements the dress so well.
