eShakti Custom Dress Review

Thank you to eShakti for partnering with me on this post. All opinions are my own.

I first discovered eShakti through my mom when she sent me a screenshot of a Facebook ad advertising their gorgeous, affordable custom dresses.  Was it worth it or is it too good to be true, she asked.  eShakti peaked my curiosity since they tout a large inventory of custom, made-to-order dresses, tops, skirts, and pants at an affordable price (usually under $100).  It really did sound too good to be true since custom clothing typically costs in the hundreds of dollars.  So few weeks later when eShakti offered to send me a dress of my choice to review, I naturally said yes.

Dress: eShakti | Shoes: Gianni Bini | Bag: Henri Bendel (old) | Earrings: J.Crew

eShakti’s unique claim is that they will customize their clothing to not only fit your measurements, but also your style and taste.  When you choose the items you want, you have the option to select one of their predetermined sizes from a size chart or input your own measurements so they can custom-make the garment for you.  Then, you can customize the length of the skirt, dress, or pant, the sleeve length, and the style of neckline you prefer.  You also have the option remove the pockets on most pieces.

I scrolled through eShakti’s vast inventory for quite a while before settling on this sweet little A-line knit dress from their Zapelle line.  After reviewing the sizing options, I decided to not input my measurements since it looked like a standard size XS would fit me perfectly (and it did!).  I did enter my height (5’2) and choose for the skirt to be above the knee length.

Ever since I received this dress in the mail, I’ve been absolutely in love.  The dress itself is well-structured and well-made.  The super soft and lightweight material makes it effortless to wear.  The quality is just there.

I chose this dress in part because of its seasonal versatility.  The dress is light enough to wear in spring and summer, but warm enough to wear in fall and winter.  I can pair it with pumps and flats during the warmer months, and boots and booties when the weather cools down.  The overall style is classic with a modern twist, making it perfect for work wear.

I styled the dress with my new pair of nude sandals – yes, I finally ditched my old ones!  This style by Gianni Bini is simple, elegant, and very comfortable to wear.  I finished off the outfit with a bright blue Henri Bendel Mini Uptown Tote to complement the navy of the dress body and colorful, jewel-toned crystal earrings from J.Crew.

I honestly can’t wait to order another dress from eShakti.  Most dress styles range in price from $69-129, which is amazing for the quality you receive.  They really have lived up to their claim of custom dresses for less!
