You would think a southwestern print poncho would be fall/winter accessory, right?  Repurposing certain lightweight items that are typically used during the colder months can be a unique way to up your summer wardrobe game.  A darker poncho or jacket is useful with a sleeveless romper, dress, or top when you’re going to be in a restaurant, theater, or somewhere where the air conditioning is usually on high.  If you’re like me and you shiver in your offie even if it’s 90 degrees outside, carrying or wearing an extra, heavier layer is just second nature.

This faux-wrap romper was my first dive into the romper world last summer and I love it.  Adding the fringed printed poncho gives it a cool girl vibe ready for a night on the town.  I mimicked the fringe detail in the neutral toned heels and gave the outfit a punch with statement rings.
