Stripes, leopard, and pearls. Oh my! The new classic is an expert combination of preppy elements to create a clean yet trendy outfit. The weather is finally cooperating with my wish to sport some of my favorite spring looks so I dragged out a striped J.Crew shirt and my leopard flats. It should be noted that this is the first time I’ve worn flats to work. Ever. What can I say? I’m a heel girl. The look was complete with statement pearls, a thin brown belt, a navy blazer (not pictured) and dark tortoise sunnies.

I absolutely love the flats!! I’ve always been scared to take on a leopard print because its so easy for it to look more “street” and less “classy”. But you make it look absolutely beautiful!! Definitely inspired me to start adding some animal prints to my wardrobe. 🙂

Thank you so much! I was iffy on it before I saw these flats at Wet Seal for around $6 on sale a few years ago. I just said “What the heck!” and went for it. They were cheap but they’ve held up very well. They even inspired me to invest in leopard heels and a leopard scarf. I think animal print in (very) small quantities can add fun to a classic outfit. I’m glad I could help!!
