I’m so excited to share with y’all the second installment in the fashion editorial series I created with William Laurence Designer Photography! In the first post, you saw my passion for curling up with a good book transformed into being inspired to write. But there are times when reading and writing are just not enough. I need to travel and experience the adventure for myself! Below is an easy outfit to style for your next road trip adventure, including an “inspired” graphic tee from fab’rik in Jonesboro. How perfect! Scroll down to see all of the details.
Top: fab’rik Jonesboro | Jacket: fab’rik Jonesboro | Pants: Forever 21 | Shoes: Guess (similar) | Bag: Danielle Nicole x Disney | Choker: Slate from Rocksbox
Travel outfits are always a tough decision for me. The comfort part of me wants to wear leggings and a sweatshirt, but the fashion blogger part of me knows better. This is an easy, laid-back outfit for a road trip with a fun twist.
A graphic tee is relaxed and super easy to pair with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans. Fall weather is settling into Arkansas, so this Jack by BB Dakota light suede jacket is perfect for layering for when it gets chilly. Nude pumps for traveling may seem like a strange choice, but these by Guess are super comfortable. (I also kick them off when I’m in the passenger seat so I can really relax!)
Statement jewelry and accessories are musts with such a simple outfit formula. I’ve never been a fan of choker necklaces until I received this one by Slate in my latest box from Rocksbox. The simplicity of it’s design makes it an unusual statement piece. I feel it adds a little edge to the outfit, along with a pair of ear studded ear jacket earrings.
(Pssst. Want to try Rocksbox? Use the code CHICLITTLEHONEYXOXO for your first month of jewelry free!)
The rose shoulder bag from Danielle Nicole’s Beauty and the Beast collaboration with Disney tones down the edge with soft femininity.
