Lilly Pulitzer Rompers

Lilly Pulitzer Rompers

It’s a known fact that Lilly Pulitzer and summer are synonymous.   One of my favorite parts of bringing out my spring and summer clothes is rediscovering my older Lilly favorites.  Whether it’s the shorts, shift dresses, or flowing tank tops, they always sneak their way back into my heart and my warm weather wardrobe.  Today I want to focus on an older Lilly romper and all of the new rompers they’re offering this season!  See all of the details below!

After years of being reluctant to break away from their classic silhouettes and conservative hem lines, Lilly finally, wholeheartedly embraced newer trends such as the two-piece sets, crop tops and rompers about two years ago.   In the beginning, it was my turn to be the reluctant customer.  I mean, Lilly and tasseled crop tops?  It was just something I wasn’t used to seeing (or wearing).  But, like many other Lilly ladies, I jumped on the bandwagon too.

Rompers are one of the easiest pieces to style for warm weather.  They’re both easy to throw on and super comfortable.  It’s a win-win style!  Slap a fun and bright Lilly print on one and I’m in summer heaven.  This Ritz romper style isn’t currently sold, even though I really wish it was because it’s one of the most comfortable items in my closet.  But never fear, Lilly has you covered with the Tala, Edona, Madilyn, Lana, and Tiki styles!  Because a girl needs options.

All of these romper styles can be dressed up or down depending on your accessories and shoes.  While running errands around town with Colton, I dressed the romper down in a comfortable way.  I stuck with a pair of older, bedazzeled sandals and simple, layered bracelets to add a bit of subtle fun to the already loud outfit.  A neutral crossbody bag to hold all of my essentials finished off the on-the-go outfit.

To dress up the Ritz romper, I would wear neutral wedges, a blingy statement necklace, and a clutch.  Simple, versatile, and oh, so stylish!
