Shades of Brown Outfit

Shades of Brown Outfit

Brown is at the forefront of the array of colors that make fall the beautiful season that it is.  I’ve mixed five different shades of brown  to create a festive and warm outfit for the fall season.  Can you pick out all five?  See all the details below!

Brown is the dominant color of my fall and winter wardrobe.  When I go boot and handbag shopping, I usually gravitate toward the styles available in the brown shades.  I love black (trust me, I do), but when it comes to fall, brown has my heart.

Let’s start with the sweater.  The J.Crew Tippi sweater is the ultimate piece for colder months.  It’s currently offered in 16 colors.  Yes, you read that right.  The Tippi is a light merino wool sweater with 3/4 sleeves that is perfect for layering and keeping cozy while you’re on the go.  The one I’m wearing here is in the color deep copper.

Now, can we talk about that bag?  I saw the Henri Bendel Uptown Satchel in the Dallas boutique during my visit last month and died at the cuteness of it.  I mean, just look at the sleek lines and cute gold details!  The Uptown Satchel is perfect for running errands when you have to carry a large wallet, phone, sunglasses, tablet, lipstick, keys, etc.  HB describes this color as dark yellow, but it passes for camel in my opinion.

The last three shades of brown in the outfit include the loafers, the watch, and the sunglasses.  These darling brown Coach loafers are possibly the most comfortable flats I’ve ever worn.  They’re roomy and have quite a bit of cushion on the soles with anti-slip rubber.  They’re perfect when you need a break from boots and booties.  The tortoise shell sunglasses from J.Crew Factory are my go-to brown sunglasses for every season (plus they’re very inexpensive!).  And finally, the Daniel Wellington watch.  The brown leather band is simple and the watch face is small.
