There may be nothing I love more in fashion than an all black outfit.  There’s just something about a dark monochromatic outfit that makes my heart flutter.  Scroll down to see all of the details!

A fully black outfit is chic and edgy.  It’s basically my date night uniform no matter the season.  The outfit itself is very simple: a black camisole with a lace trim neckline, black ultra skinny jeans, a fitted black faux leather jacket, and a structured black handbag.  Each piece is simple and easily interchangeable to fit the occasion or season.  This particular jacket has been an indispensable addition to my wardrobe.  The asymmetrical zipper in the front makes the jacket so unique.  I love how fitted and structured the body of the jacket it.  It’s not too boxy or too tight.  It’s perfect.

For a wintery day, I topped off the outfit with a faux fur circle scarf.  You may remember the scarf from when I wore it with an outfit at New York Fashion Week last February.  See that fabulous, feather-filled outfit here.  I always choose nude shoes when styling a dark monochromatic outfit.  These nude pointed-toe pumps elongated my very short legs to make me look taller than I really am.  It’s a style secret all petite women share!
