Ah, warm weather!  It’s time for shorts, sandals, flower crowns, and flowing dresses at long last!  The heat tends to take priority over style when we are running around town during the warmer months.  I have to admit gym shorts and a bro tank always look more tempting than a dress and wedges when the temperatures are in the 80’s and 90’s.  However, I’m happy to say that I finally found my go-to hot weather outfit!  This must-have outfit consists of a lightweight camisole tucked into high-waisted shorts, paired with wedges and a tote bag to carry all of my summer essentials.

As I’ve said countless times in the past, Lilly Pulitzer is my number one choice when it comes to camisoles.  Tuck them into high-waisted shorts or let them hang free with low-risers….the choice is yours!  These J.Crew Factory camisoles are also great for when you’re on a budget.

High-waisted lace shorts are both comfy and flattering. I can wear literally any type of top with them and I’ll still come out looking stylish and feeling comfortable – the best of both worlds!
