Dress: Diane von Furstenberg (similar here & here) | Shoes: Michael Kors | Jacket: BLANKNYC | Bag: Henri Bendel | Ring: Draper James | Scarf: vintage

This bright pink sheath dress by Diane von Furstenberg is my dream come true, to be honest.  The cut of the dress is flattering and girly, yet professional and conservative enough for work, church, business meetings, banquets, etc.  A clean-lined dress is a versatile item that needs to be in every girl’s closet.  The simplicity of this dress makes it easy for me to accessorize it in several different ways for countless different occasions.

For this outfit, I added a vintage silk scarf around my neck to give weight to the dress.  I could easily swap the scarf for a statement necklace like this one, or a dainty necklace like this one.  OR, I could skip a neckpiece and go straight for statement earrings like these.

To combat the bright pink of the dress (which may not be some people’s cup of tea), I layered a black leather jacket for a bit of edge.  To go for a softer look, a beige blazer would do the trick.
