Thank you to Karen Kane for partnering with me on this post. All opinions are my own.
There’s nothing like a breezy summer dress to wear on a warm, sunny day! I recently discovered the darling palm print Karen Kane dress and I simply can’t get enough. Scroll down to see how I styled this fun summer dress!
Dress: Karen Kane | Blazer: Brooks Brothers (similar style) | Shoes: Gianni Bini | Bag: Henri Bendel (old)
This beautiful Karen Kane palm print dress features a full skirt and an asymmetrical handkerchief hemline. I really love how full the skirt is! It adds a hint of drama to an otherwise casual summer dress. The material is light, making it easy to wear even on a hot summer day. The waist is cinched with a printed belt, but it could easily be replace by a thin belt of your own choosing (maybe one in blue or pink?).
I also love how versatile this particular summer dress is. It can be dressed up with heels and jewelry or down with sandals and a straw handbag. Here, I dressed it up with a pair of minimalist, strappy nude heels and one of my favorite summer blazers from Brooks Brothers. The blazer was a fun find in a vintage market a about five years ago and I’m always excited to bring it out when the weather turns warm. The light blue of the blazer adds a subtle pop of playfulness to the outfit.
My Brooks Brothers blazer is no longer available, so I found a few similar options for y’all. This Brooks Brothers double-breasted jacket is the exact light blue of my original blazer and this very similar BB Dakota blazer is only $88!
I finished the outfit off with my Henri Bendel Waldorf handbag, dainty studs, and oversized black sunglasses.
Such a great dress on you!
