Beauty and the Beast Style: Yellow Dress

It’s no secret that Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairytale.  The original fairytale has always captivated me along with the Disney animated classic.  So when the new version hit theaters, you can bet I was there with Colton in tow the day it premiered.  I’ve since seen it three more times.  Oops.

Thanks to blogs like Disney Style, I discovered the Danielle Nicole x Disney collaboration of handbags.  Y’all, they are so cute!  The handbags by Nicole helped me throw together this quick and easy outfit inspired by Beauty and the Beast, complete with yellow dress and rose handbag.  See the details below!

Dress: Forever 21 (similar) | Shoes: Guess | Bag: Danielle Nicole x Disney | Earrings: Gorjana

The iconic yellow dress has become synonymous with Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.  I found this polka dot dress by surprise a few years ago at Forever 21.  It features a fit and flare silhouette with keyhole back and satin lining.

The dress may be lovely, but the star of this outfit is the clutch.  Danielle Nicole outdid herself when she designed this delicate, deep dust pink handbag.  The bag features layers of rose petals and three golden leaves, one of which serves as the zipper pull.  A removable chain is also included so the bag can be worn on the shoulder or as a crossbody.  The phrase “Beautiful as a rose” adorns the back of the bag in embroidery.  Simply gorgeous.

Be sure to take a look at the rest of the Danielle Nicole x Disney collection!  Then stay tuned because I bought TWO more of her Beauty and the Beast inspired bags! Yes, I know; I’m shameless.
