With spring finally here to stay, off the shoulder dresses are out to play.

This dress caught my eye the moment I saw it on the rack.  You may recall that I featured a similar blue and white striped dress last year on the blog with a large ruffle at the neckline.  Sans ruffle, this dress is much less whimsical, making it perfect for summer evening affairs.

I sleeves that I have cuffed in this outfit are fastened with a small button, adding to it’s more formal appearance.  The off the shoulder neckline creates a trendy statement while keeping you cool in the warm weather.  As for the matching blue heels, the cutout and lace up details help add to the statement-making look.  Sprinkle in a little color with the bracelets and keep it neutral with the bag, and the outfit is complete.
