I make it my mission to find the coziest, comfiest, softest sweater to wear in the colder months when I would rather be cuddled up by a fire than doing anything else. Well, I think I found that sweater from Make Me Chic. See the sweater and a review of my experience with the company below!
I have to admit that cozy sweaters are one of the main reasons why I look forward to the fall and winter seasons so much. There’s nothing I love more than cuddling up in fluffy, chunky, over-sized sweaters with a good book and a hot mug of coffee. This sweater from Make Me Chic brings the off-the-shoulder trend into the colder months with style.
Make Me Chic is a large online Chinese clothing retailer that has been growing in popularity over the past few months. Since y’all liked my last honest company review so much, here’s another!
Make Me Chic is owned by the same company as SheIn, arguably the most popular online Chinese clothing retailer. At first glance, both websites look to be about the same. Same style of clothing, same wording, etc. Pricing, however, is where they differ. Products on Make Me Chic cost an average of $20-$30 more than on SheIn.
So why buy from Make Me Chic rather than SheIn? Well, Make Me Chic says you get orders from them quicker than you would from SheIn. Which turned out to not be the case. I previously worked with SheIn and from the time my order with them was placed, the package took a total of 10 days to reach my doorstep. Not bad coming all the way from China. With Make Me Chic, the package arrived 17 days after the order was placed. Hmm.
I have to say that while the shipping time was frustrating, the sweater itself pleasantly surprised me. The material is very thick and soft, and all of the hems are finished. Yay for no strings (unlike the last review…see here)!
The sweater only comes in one size, which was pretty odd to me. The body of the sweater fits me perfectly so I would say it’s equivalent to an extra small. But the sleeves…well, you can see how large my cuffs are!
Overall, I love the sweater. It’s comfortable and easy to wear. The sleeve length is not what I was expecting, but it’s still perfect for cuddling with with a hot mug of coffee. Oh, and did I mention the thumb holes? J’adore.
