Sometimes a classic black and white outfit is all you need to look chic. To see my dad inducted into the Henderson State University Hall of Honor, I donned a fit and flare white dress and added my favorite black jacket and handbag. See the full outfit below!

I love a simple white dress. The crisp lines of this fit and flare dress from Elizabeth and James create a clean and professional silhouette that is perfect for the office, lunch date, or in my case, a banquet. Adding a leather jacket to the outfit makes it a little bit more edgy. Because this outfit needed some edge.
I topped the outfit off with my favorite black handbag from Henri Bendel and a pair of simple nude pumps. I kept the accessories minimal with silver and rhinestone stud earrings and stacked rings.
