Gearing up for spring has never been so exciting! Since the Arkansas weather has finally decided to waiver in between the 60’s and 70’s, dressing for the day has taken a lighter and brighter turn. This white lace dress features a loose, shift cut and gold-trimmed floral lace. I heavily played off the gold shimmer of the dress in my accessories, including the coveted Lilly for Target clutch, these beautiful Kendra Scott earrings and a gold statement necklace.
The sandal heel I have fallen in love with is known throughout the fashion industry as the “giving sandal.” The idea behind the name is that it gives more to the outfit than it takes away; meaning it doesn’t take attention away from the outfit you’re wearing. The opposite of a statement shoe. The minimal straps and hardware elongate the legs of the wearer and simply allow the eye to roam the rest of the outfit rather than linger on its simplicity. It’s genius. These particular heels are by Steve Madden, but the original credit goes to Stuart Weitzman.
