If you haven’t figured it out already, I am a major bookworm. I inherited a passion for reading from every member of my family. I love anything from Shakespeare, to Edgar Allan Poe, to Jane Austen, to Ted Dekker, to Dan Brown, to JK Rowling post Harry Potter. My gateway to reading could be mostly attributed to Carolyn Keene and the original Nancy Drew series. Nancy and her posse are solely responsible for drawing me into the mystery genre of books. I can remember night after night of waiting until my parents had gone to sleep so I could pull out my flashlight and read The Secret in the Old Attic and The Scarlet Slipper Mystery to the very end. At one point, I owned all of the original series. All of them. So you can imagine my excitement when I came across the Litograph website.
Each shirt, tote bag, and poster by Litograph features art from a classic masterpiece. Find Shakespeare, Sherlock Holmes, The Great Gatsby, Austen, Alice in Wonderland, Hemingway, and so many more scattered throughout the site. What makes these pieces special, however, are the words. These are books, after all. Each piece features art and text from the book it represents. I chose Nancy Drew and the Secret of the Old Clock to be my first tee from the site and I am in love. The tee, itself, is soft, light and fits well. And I can even read the text from the the book with the help of a magnifying glass. This is a unique addition to my closet and is sure to be a conversation starter.
