Rompers + Mini Golf

Rompers + Mini Golf

I had thoroughly convinced myself that when rompers become the IT item to have in your summer wardrobe, they would look simply hideous on me.  It’s taken me an entire year to try one out.  And guess what?  I love it!  I found a simple draped romper on sale online, ordered it, and voila!  A new love affair is born.

The simplicity of this particular romper makes it completely versatile.  I can wear it with sandals or flats, heels or wedges, large statement jewelry, or simple.  The possibilities are endless!

For a mini golf date with my boyfriend over the weekend, I chose to wear the romper with my favorite Ralph Lauren wedges and simple gold jewelry.  Later that evening when we went out for dinner with my parents, I switched the initial necklace for a turquoise statement one and the wedges for my Vince Camuto heels.

The setting for our date was a mini golf course called Pirate’s Cove in Hot Springs.  You have your choice of two courses (we played both) in which one goes through a cave with buried treasure and the other goes across a large pirate ship!  And just for anyone who wants to know, Colton and I tied during our first round of mini golf and we just lost track of scores on the second round.  He was an excellent date and mini golfing partner, as usual!

  1. Love this look, and what a cute spot for photos! I just got a white romper too and am loving it– surprisingly so versatile so I know I’ll be wearing it a ton this summer!
